Eduardo (Eddie) Xavier Escobar
Background Information
Eddie Escobar is a junior partner of Reese & Williamson,
L.L.P. He was born in the Rio Grande Valley on August 17,
1977.
He spent most of his life in Alice, Texas where he
graduated from high school. After high school graduation, he
attend Texas A&M University-Kingsville where he received a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Political Science and English Literature.
Immediately after graduation, he attended law school at St. Mary’s
University in San Antonio, Texas.
While in law school, Mr. Escobar took specialized courses in the areas of Labor/Employment Law and Civil Rights. Also while in law school, Mr. Escobar worked as a student attorney for the St. Mary’s University Civil Justice Clinic. While at the Clinic, he represented indigent clients in civil matters in the Bexar County courts.
Mr. Escobar has been with Reese & Williamson, L.L.P. since
September 2003. During his tenure at Reese & Williamson,
L.L.P., he has represented clients with criminal charges
including: DWI, Theft, Robbery, Fraud, Manslaughter, Sexual
Assaults, Indecency with a Child, Narcotics and Drug Related
Offenses.
Mr. Escobar has also represented clients in civil matters including Divorce, Child Support, Child Custody, Paternity, and Business Litigation.
Mr. Escobar is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of the American
Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Criminal Defense
Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
